Don’t let fear stop you. Getting a place in Mexico is a process, but if you work with the right people it can be smooth and even easy. Alejandra and Karen took care of everything. I bought through them in first half of 2025. The complexity of the deal was broken down for me into simple steps. The total working time involved was less than 20 hours from my email expressing interest to closing. The total time between making the offer and closing was less than three months. I originally did a lot of research and decided to avoid Karen as her listings had a slightly higher price per square foot. As I looked all over the island I realized that while Karen had listings to fit most budgets she doesn’t list deals that aren’t vetted to close and she doesn’t list problem properties. Also there are real value buys listed on her site because they are in great areas. I can’t recommend her and Alejandra enough. Also Ricardo is a cool dude too. I suggest you stop dreaming and start buying. I am sitting in my new Cozumel home while I write this. It is a dream I sat on for way too long.
